Pashley at Gleneagles Ticket

Size Guide

We would be delighted for you to join us on the 16th June at the Gleneagles Hotel for a beautiful bicycle ride and special afternoon tea.

The day is all about enjoying the fresh air of Scotland on your bicycle, delicious food, and toasting a glass of bubbly with friends and fellow riders, all in the glorious surroundings of Gleneagles.

The day includes:

  • Reception at the Barony Room with refreshments
  • An gentle bicycle ride of 12 miles, with midway refreshment and photo stop at the picturesque Strathallan Castle.
  • A special afternoon tea hosted in the new Strathearn Orangery at The Gleneagles Hotel.
  • The opportunity to try a range of Pashley and Moulton bicycles including the recently launched Pashley-Morgan models, along with some lovely Morgan motor cars.

The day will start and finish at the Gleneagles Hotel which is easily accessible from the Gleneagles train station or there is a large car park at the hotel itself. Registration will commence at 10:30am and the event should conclude by 5:00pm.

The Gleneagles Hotel will offer their best available rate with a room upgrade (subject to availability) for guests travelling from afar and wishing to stay.  Please quote “Pashley” to a member of the Gleneagles Sales Team when you call to make the booking. The number is 0800 704705 - option 2.

Gleneagles has a fleet of Pashley classic bicycles for its guests to use so please enquire with them if you would like to borrow one for the event.

If you have any further questions please do contact Blake Lavelle at Pashley on 01789 292 263.

We will look forward to seeing you on the day!

Please note: Your ticket(s) will be posted to you free of charge a couple of weeks before the event.

SIZING GUIDE
Pashley’s cycles come in a variety of frame sizes. The frame size (1) is the distance between the centrepoint of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arms extend from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).
Sizing Diagram

'DTT' (2) after a frame size stands for 'double top-tube', where an additional top-tube has been added to the frame. The stand-over height (3) for our 'diamond' frame bicycles is the height from the ground to the top of the top-tube.

Sizing Tables
Frame sizes are shown in bold red in the tables below, followed by the corresponding inside-leg length range (and stand-over height - SOH - if applicable).

To select the correct frame size for you, first measure your inside leg length (from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh) in inches - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. Then, use the tables below to find the frame size you will need.

Your inside leg length may fall in-between two frame sizes. If you are unsure which size is best for you, please feel free to call us on 01789 292 263 (Mon-Fri, 9-5pm) or email hello@pashley.co.uk and we would be happy to advise.

Please note that the Guv'nor, Briton, Roadster, and Speed 5 have a higher than average top-tube ("stand-over") and bottom bracket height. If your inside leg is at the lower end of a frame-size range for these bicycles, you may need to support yourself on tip-toe when stopping on your bicycle.
