Pashley’s iconic wicker basket has been traditionally hand-woven and is just the ticket to hold your daily food shop or a picnic and blanket! A practical addition to the front of your bike, it is supplied with a basket support frame and two buckled leather straps that secure easily to the handlebars.

Medium size: suited to the Poppy and Picador.
Large size: suited to the Princess, Sonnet and Britannia.

Please note: we recommend that a competent bicycle mechanic fits the basket and support frame to your bicycle, as this process will require the removal of the handlebars (instructions are provided with the order).

Approximate external dimensions of the baskets:
Medium (for the Poppy or Picador): H=24cm, L=21cm(base) / 37cm(top), W=27cm(base) / 41cm(top).
Large (for the Princess, Sonnet or Britannia): H=29cm, L=23cm(base) / 39cm(top), W=27cm(base) / 44cm(top).

Material
Natural and sustainable wicker. Leather straps with plated buckles.

Care
Clean with a soft bristle brush. As the basket is made from natural fibres, it may be prone to mould if it does not dry out properly after exposure to moisture. Mould growth can be cleaned with a sponge or brush and a mix of 1 cup water, 1 cup white vinegar and ¼ cup of dish soap; a 1-1 solution of bleach and water can be used for tougher mould. Rinse with water after cleaning and please wear gloves. The leather straps should be treated every so often with a little wax.
